both my brother and i are gay.
jon lives with his partner andre, they are talking about buying a house and starting a family.
i am living with my love jeani.
we are raising our 9yr old daugher mia, (9 going on 19.. lol)
and have a small zoo in our house. we are surounded by life every second of the day.
jeani and i found each other after surving many years in horrible relationships and have been building a wonderful life together ever since.
i am currently pregnant with twins, after suffering a devestaing loss of our daughter julia a year ago (miscarried at the end of may). the ttc journey has been long and expensive, and so worth it every time i feel the babies move inside me and we get to see them on ultrasound.
i had never thought that i would get the opportunity to be a mom. it is one of the greatest gifts that anyone has ever given me.
what better way to raise twins than with 2 moms?

:)
after more clomid cycles and sitting some out b.c of clomid induced cysts, we the nurses gave us gonal-f, and we did one cycle of that with lupron, and we got the twins. (using our last 2 vials of sperm from california cryo).
the only other RE in town requires that lesbian couples go through psych evals before he will even talk to them.
i'm rambling -- and hey, i was a unit secretary before med school, it's a *very* tough job. and like my mom always says (she's a nurse), the unit secretary is the toughest and worst job there, so they deserve all the respect!!
i was working on a masters degree in anthropology/womans studies because its basically the only thing i am passionate about, but that is what i had to drop out of and never went back, maybe someday, when the twins start school. lol
: )
as much as i hate my job, i would be hard pressed to go start a new job at 1.2 the pay rate when basically all i have been doing is some admissions and then spend the rest of the time in the internet or reading. being knocked up with twins, its the ideal job. lol
A thousand wonderful wishes for you, your partner and your children. I hope all of you are happy and well.
