I'm sooo glad that you two are in a much happier place! Breakups are often weird in the sense that, at the time they first happen it feels SO terrible, but then later you realize what a favor the other person did by breaking up with you.

Not to be a wet blanket, but are you really sure he doesn't remember Jeani? It just seems odd to me that he would have already forgotten her completely, when he was having nightmares about her, and he lived with her for most of his life. He might still remember her at times...but then, if he's able to forget her most of the time, that's progress. I just hope that you got him away from her in time that she won't leave some kind of lasting scar on him. Fortunately, he's still very, very young...and like you said, he has you and Tory to look up to now.
